Here are some more photos of the Drop Stripe® ceiling, made in cooperation with the architecture and design studio "Echoes Design" in a new fitness club in Moscow at 10 Partizanskaya Street.
We have written about this project earlier in our post: "LET THERE BE LIGHT! or The Main Condition for a Great Ceiling Project".
Dear colleagues, we return to this question again and again for a reason, because a technically correct lighting solution is a prerequisite for the ceilings you are designing to become the main design exhibit of your object and have success in the eyes of both your customers and your colleagues.
On one hand, you can turn to a lighting company, which will be able to make a lighting project for a considerable albeit fair fee, and even implement it, if your client has enough budget for it.
LED panels using a diffusing screen will always look perfect above our decorative ceilings. But not always such a solution is appropriate, especially when it comes to low-budget projects and small sites. But that does not mean that you can not make a gorgeous project by resorting to other means!
To help us outcome LED strips or standard LED linear lights.
There are a few important things you need to know when using LED strips in your lighting with our architectural paper ceilings. The first is the mandatory use of diffusers. After all, no one would enjoy blinding dots of light cast at a certain angle of view, right?
Secondly, diffusers allow for softer refraction of the light beam, so the ceiling lighting becomes smoother. Moreover, if you use RGB as well, there is a softer transition of color gradients.
The next point, no less important, is the distance between the light fixture itself and the top point of the decorative ceiling. 40-50 cm if possible, whilst the minimum distance is 20 cm. But if you do not have such heights in stock, then you can place them directly above the decorative ceiling, increasing their number in accordance with the angle of light scattering of the applied lighting equipment. You can learn more about this by downloading the webinar presentation "Rules for Creating a Successful Project" in the Price List section.
And another important point, if you use the lamellar ceilings in your project, you can place linear luminaires or LED strips, both perpendicular to the lamellas, and horizontally (in parallel) to them. It all depends on what is the desired end result!
So, good luck, colleagues! If you have any questions: write and call us, and we will advise you on how to make your project truly unique.
