Original design ideas for a cafe by the designer Lyudmila Kalabekova in the city of Nalchik were implemented by our company in the local ceiling area above the bar counter.
Once again, “paper” architecture shows how simple solutions can transform a space and breathe into it the freshness and rhythm of a modern city.
City cafes are a special socio-cultural space, a place where city residents and guests with different cultural and taste preferences meet. Therefore, their main task, in addition to a high-quality basic product, for example, coffee, is to offer their visitors a current atmosphere that meets all the necessary requirements of the urban environment: there may be fresh magazines, books, internet access, etc. And the interior of such places must match the multiple time rhythms.
To decorate the ceiling composition from lamellas of different heights from 620 mm to 1370 mm, in different widths from 300 to 600 mm, the unusual material Easy Drop® was used - a material that is the most loved by decorators, theater designers and designers.
In addition to its non-flammable properties, it has a fairly high density of 162 g/m2, and it can be painted or printed with the desired text or design... In this project, canvases in pastel color gradients were hand-painted by our decorators! And this non-woven material has another additional property: simply by spraying the back of the material with water, it can be easily fixed on any surface, for example, a wall!
